Do you offer a catalog or brochure?
Not at this time. We are constantly adding to our collections, therefore we do not print a catalog. Please check our website often for our newest designs.


Do you have a minimum order?
At Blushing Bettie, we can accommodate intimate gatherings or grand affairs. Our minimum order is 25 invitations.


When should I order my wedding invitations?
We recommend at least 4-5 months in advance. However, it is best to place your order as soon as plans are finalized. During peak season, it usually takes a full 6-8 weeks to produce your order.


When is peak season?
Peak season is usually from January through June.

Once I place my order, how long will it take to receive it?
After placing your order, the complete process will take between 10-12 weeks, allowing for proofing and production time combined.


How long will my order take once I sign-off on my proofs?
After signing off on all of your proofs, production will take 6-8 weeks. This time can be shorter, depending on our production schedule. Please allow for the full 8 weeks during peak season.


When should I mail out my invitations?
Wedding invitations should be sent out 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date. Of course, this time may be less (approximately 3-6 weeks) for other events.


Do your invitations require special mailing?
Blushing Bettie invitations vary in size and weight. We suggest taking an invitation to the post office to get weighed so you will know exactly how much postage to apply. In order to avoid accidents that may occur when invitations are machine fed, we recommend that you ask for your invitations to be hand-cancelled. Many post offices prefer that you call in advance so they are able to accommodate you. Blushing Bettie is not responsible for machine fed invitations.


Can I order other enclosures?
You may choose to include a reception card, directions, maps or other enclosures to compliment your invitations. Programs, save-the-dates, announcements and place cards are also available. Prices are determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us with your requests.


Is it possible to customize an existing invitation design?
Absolutely. If you are looking for a particular paper, color, font or ribbon, we can work with you to customize our existing designs. There is usually no additional charge for customizing an existing invitation with slight changes. However, changes that alter the overall design may incur additional charges.


I want something completely different, can you create a custom design?
We would love to create something that expresses your individuality! Custom orders require an initial non-refundable $100 design fee. We will discuss your vision, budget and ideas to create two designs for you to choose from. Two complimentary revisions are included with the design of your choice. For each additional revision, a $25 fee will incur. Once you have agreed on the final design, the total payment for your order will be due. Upon receipt of payment, your custom pieces will be produced.


Can I order samples?
Yes. Since color settings may vary on every computer, we recommend it. We offer invitation samples from previous runs for sale. Sample prices may vary depending on the invitation chosen. Shipping and handling fees are included. We also offer small sample swatches (approximately 2”x2”) that contain all of the papers used in a particular invitation. These may be useful if you are just interested in seeing and feeling the papers used to create the invitation. Sample swatches are $5.00, including shipping and handling. If you are interested in ordering an invitation sample or swatch, please contact us with your request. Sample fees are non-refundable.


Can I order extra envelopes?
Yes. Additional envelopes are .75 cents each. Please contact us to order.


Can I have addresses printed on my envelopes?
Of course. Guest addresses can be printed on your outer envelope for a fee of $1.00 per envelope. Your return address can be printed on your rsvp envelope or outer envelope for a fee of $0.50 per envelope. Guest lists are accepted via Word document. Please take the time to complete and spell-check your list. Once your document is submitted, it cannot be changed. Blushing Bettie is not responsible for overlooked errors submitted in your list. Orders will not be processed until the complete guest list is received. If you are interested in adding this option to your order, please contact us with your request.


Can you ship my envelopes early?
Sure. We can ship your envelopes early for a flat fee of $12.00. Envelopes will be sent approximately 2 weeks after all proofs have been approved. Blushing Bettie is not responsible for damages incurred in shipping. If you are interested in having your envelopes shipped early, please contact us with your request.


Do you do rush orders?
Blushing Bettie strives to ensure the quality and craftsmanship of our invitations. All of our invitations are handcrafted, and under normal circumstances take approximately 6-8 weeks to produce. Rush orders are handled on a case-by-case basis and can only be accommodated if there is room in our production schedule. If you need your order sooner than 8-12 weeks (during peak season), this is considered a rush order. Pleas contact us to see if there is room in our production schedule to meet your needs.

 

What if I need to cancel my order?
In the event that an order must be cancelled before signing off on your proof, a $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged and the remaining balance will be refunded. Please keep in mind that once your proof has been approved, a refund cannot be given.
